Deputy Manager - Channel Development

Job Description :

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key Channel Partners and I&C´s
  • Appoint Master Distributors and Retail Channel Partners
  • Study competition and carry our Product & Price Benchmarking studies
  • Devise and develop sales and marketing strategies to increase sales through Channel
  • Conduct conferences for ex. Local MIDC’s , Architect’s , Professional Bodies Association to promote our Products and Services

Manager - Sr. Manager Contract

Job Summary :

The Incumbent will assume responsibility for development, management, and maintenance of all main contracts and subcontracts of MSPL. The Contracts Manager will play a major role in this effort by ensuring that contractual arrangements with clients are clear, economical, and efficient and that the tasks necessary to maintain contracts and strong client relationships are performed with expedience and diligence. To be successful in this role, the chosen candidate will have significant experience in contract management, along with exposure to or experience of Project Management. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and significant experience in negotiating with stakeholders and suppliers, is required

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Assume responsibility for all project contractual activities from Hand Over from BD/Proposal Group until all relevant contractual obligations are complete and all relevant contractual issues are resolved/settled
  • Oversee major functions of contract management, including drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution in liaison with BD, Finance and Legal Team
  • Identification of Customer/Consortium and other third party obligations and development and implementation of the Project Contract Commercial Plan, including Project Claim Strategy
  • Liaise with Project Planning Manager to ensure Contract Programme and appropriate schedules for subcontracts are produced and maintained, to support Project Claim Strategy
  • Support project risk and opportunity identification and analysis. Support the management of risks and opportunities by development and implementation of appropriate Project Contract Commercial Plan
  • Preservation of MSPL’s rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract. Ensure proper notices are given in line with contract requirements. Management of claims to/from customers and consortium partners
  • Ensuring appropriate recovery from third parties

Key Skills :

  • Experience in large complex capital EPC projects, Power Projects and preferable exposure to Projects in India / Global
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and interpreting complex and sizeable contracts, preferably within the EPC Parameters in Infrastructure & Power Projects in India/Global
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of Contract Law, Arbitration Laws Statutory Requirement applicable to such Contracts
  • Technical understanding about, Term Sheet, EPC Contracts (FIDIC Based or other International Contract Forms), Service Contracts, Supply Contracts

Manager - Senior Manager-Financial Planning & Analysis

Roles and Responsibilities :

    Managing Account and Audits
  • Manage Monthly Accounts Closing, Analysis of GLs, TDS, GST and other routine monthly closing activities
  • Prepare MIS report to be presented to top management highlighting the variances between Budget and Actuals and raising red alerts on financials performance of any. MIS would also include preparation of financials including Income Statement
  • Be Aware and updated abut the latest Accounting polices (including INDAS) for implementation of the same with the company and its group entities
  • Independently Manage Internal and External Audit Engagements
  • Ensure completion of Board & Shareholders approvals for the Accounting and Audit procedures
    • Strategic Planning
    • Engage with the Business and Operations teams to align financial management with short- and long-term financial planning and projections
    • Formulate the finance and commercial strategy for facilitating top management in decision-making
    • Annual business plan, mid - long term strategic plan and capital allocation for projects
      Fund Raising
    • Handle inflow & outflow of funds by ensuring optimum utilization of available funds to accomplish organizational goals
    • Establish and implement efficient norms for fund management, credit policy, debt-equity ratio and the necessary financial risk analysis requirements
    • Responsible for liaising with credit rating agencies and negotiating with banks & financial institutions for raising fund & non-fund based facilities at favourable terms to meet working capital requirements, LC & bank guarantee
    • Coordinate with the legal counsel for drafting and negotiating the contractual documents for investment, and safeguard the rights of the Company and investors
    • Ensure completion of applicable Commercial Papers, including coordination with the Board & Shareholders for all necessary approvals, & complete the closure activities
      Statutory Compliances and Legal
    • Manage the legal controller function, which includes ensuring legal compliance across business/company
    • Provide legal support and advice/guidance to business teams, including enquiries on contractual obligations
    • Review all contractual documents prior to execution, including checking any specific requirements in case of international contracts
    • Ensure that the Company is protected through Copyright, Trademark and Patent registration, and implement safeguard mechanisms to protect the Company's IP
    • Adhering to regulatory compliances including statutory and tax reporting; complying to contractual and regulatory obligations as per guidelines
      Treasury Operations
    • Oversee cash flows and treasury to ensure liquidity requirements
    • Manage regular treasury operations and provide regular reporting to BU Heads
      Budgeting and Planning
    • Partner with the Business Heads on all related operational and strategic issues as they arise; provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost benefit analysis, statutory and legal basis
    • Long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with organizational P&L & BU-level P&Ls

    Key Skills :

    • Should have experience working on SAP/ERP modules
    • Exposure to handling P&L of a listed entity
    • Exposure to working across geographically spread teams including International locations

    Experience :

AM / DM – Procurement

Job Summary :

The incumbent will be responsible for complete purchase cycle for assigned portfolio along with continuous focus on Cost Reduction & Avoidance, Vendor Development, and Vendor Performance Management. The candidate shall also be the Lead / SPOC from Procurement Dept. for various cross-functional projects and ERP Customization. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Purchase Portfolio shall include Module Mounting Structures, Inverters, Cables, LT Panel, ACDB/DCDB and BoS Items for Solar Rooftop Projects (Residential and C&I); and Pump-Motor-Controller for Solar Water Pump Projects
  • Formulate Procurement Strategies for respective Item Category. Manage entire Procure-to-Pay Process – Prepare and Release RFP, Obtain Quotes, Negotiate, Prepare Techno-commercial Evaluation and Comparison Statement, Recommendation, Note for Approval, PO Preparation & Closure.
  • Drive Cost Reduction & Cost Saving Initiatives through Alternate Sourcing, Volume Discounting, Value Engineering, Standardization, and Rate Contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Development, Finance, Engineering, and Construction teams to understand cost targets, project timelines, compliance aspects and related constraints
  • Identification of New Suppliers, Capability Building, Supplier Relationship Management and Development Action Plan, Enhance Supplier’s contribution in New Product Development and / or Value Engineering Projects
  • Exercise Spend Analysis, Cost Breakdown Analysis, Zero-based Costing etc.; Monitor and analyse Commodity and Steel Prices Trend
  • Supplier’s Issue / Query Resolution through coordination with Internal Stakeholders

Asst/Dy Manager- Civil-Structural Design

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Preparation of Design/Drawing of Aluminium, GI structure for Rooftop/GM /Special structure application
  • Design of Foundation complying to IS standards considering Geotech data
  • Understand and interpret the Geotech data to propose ideal/optimized foundation for MMS
  • Solar PV module mounting structure (MMS) conceptualization/design/fabrication drawing.
  • Analysis and design of MMS in STAAD Pro
  • Optimisation/Standardization of design
  • Reviewing of drawings, BoQs and issuing the same for fabrication to the vendors.
  • Mock-up inspection at vendor place and incorporating the changes in the drawings based on the learning’s from mock-up.
  • Coordination and follow-up with the vendors during mass production.
  • Providing onsite training of structure installation to contractors/supervisors.
  • Supporting Business Development for preparing preliminary costing estimates for structure and foundations
  • Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documentation (Installation manuals, RFQs etc).
  • Studying the structural layout of existing RCC roofs/ roofs of industrial buildings and suggesting foundation design for rooftop MMS.
  • Key areas of responsibility :

    • Leadership skills including ability to coordinate the work of several staff members and identify, describe and implement more efficient processes and procedures.

    Experience :

    • Should have around 5-6 years of relevant experience (3-4 years in case of ME/MTech) in designing of MMS, foundation for roof top/ground mounted structures considering aesthetic of rooftop/building structure in solar PV Projects.
    • Should have worked in a reputed design/engineering consultancy organisation or with leading EPC companies.
    • Must have hands on experience in designing the Module Mounting Structures foundations for varies rooftop, carport, special structure, and ground mount applications.
    • Should have exposure to designing steel structures (Standard angles/channels etc).
    • Prior experience in Solar PV field will be added advantage.

    Qualification :

    • BE/B Tech Civil/Structural Engineering from any reputed engineering college.
    • ME/M-Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering from a well reputed college. Candidates from NIT/ IIT shall be preferred.
